Why can't new energy commercial vehicles directly adopt the leaf spring design of gasoline vehicles?
① The center of gravity and axle load distribution of electric vehicles change, and the battery continuously increases the sprung mass;
② The operation of the motor brings high-frequency vibration, and the original leaf spring stiffness is prone to resonance;
③ The energy consumption requirements of the whole vehicle are stringent, and the requirements for lightweight indicators are higher;
④ For range requirements, reducing unsprung mass can reduce energy consumption, and stiffness matching and fatigue verification need to be re-conducted.
